You may have heard electronic musician 2kn DJing at
the infamous Schiessbude raves in Berlin already. The experimental music lover is producing since his early teenage years and works for Yarn Audio and the alternative radio station FluxFM. Breaking genres open – this worn out promo phrase actually adds up when describing his franatic tunes. The Berlin-based producer transforms Nina Kraviz’ tech-house-banger «Ghetto Kraviz» into a broken beat skeleton full of suspense and melancholic sprinkles, while Machinedrum’s and Azealia Bank’s collab «Barbie Shit» gets a tricky footwork treatment.
Delightfully manic dance music from British producer Patrick Tipler where worked-up rhythms collide with high-intensity synths. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 4, 2021
